Andy Nelson is a Fine Art Photographer from Warwickshire, having developed his work over a ten year period exploring and experimenting with both digital, 35mm and 120mm film photography.

Andy immerses himself in the minutiae of life that many of us ignore or do not see and brings its unique value to our attention.  Observing the relationships between ourselves and our environment Andy captures the subtle evidence of connections within the built environment and the natural environment.

Using the camera to create a continual movement across time and place, he connects himself through the process of photography and invites the audience to become a part of the narrative.

Recent works have included explorations of human traces within domestic, urban and rural environments.

His current work focuses on how the placement of objects within the domestic space represent a narrative of relationship.  Andy's work to date has focused on sites around Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
